Client Protection
As representatives of the Company, all employees are obligated to safeguard the interests of our clients and prospects. They must provide utmost assistance and uphold the highest standards of service in all interactions.
Employees are expected to demonstrate integrity, dignity, fairness, ethics, and professionalism in their dealings with clients, market intermediaries, regulatory bodies, principal companies, and government authorities. Professional responsibilities should be fulfilled promptly, effectively, and efficiently.Each employee bears responsibility for their actions, whether deliberate or unintentional.
Exercise of Due Diligence and Avoidance of Collusion
Employees must consistently deliver high-quality service, exercising due skill, diligence, and independent professional judgment. They are prohibited from engaging in collusion with other intermediaries in ways detrimental to the interests of clients and the company.
Confidentiality
Employees must maintain strict confidentiality regarding client/prospect information unless compelled by law or duty-bound in the fulfillment of their responsibilities.
Professional Selling Practices
Employees are prohibited from employing unethical means to solicit or market financial/investment products or policies. They must refrain from making exaggerated claims about the performance of any plans or policies and avoid making adverse comments about principal companies, insurance companies, intermediaries, regulatory authorities, or government bodies.
Employees must provide clients/prospects with truthful and adequate information, avoiding misleading or exaggerated claims. They should inform clients/prospects about investment risks beforehand and provide requested documents promptly.
Employees must refrain from accepting cash from clients/prospects for any purpose and should not guarantee returns on investment unless stated in official documents.
Employees should avoid creating unrealistic expectations, inducing clients/prospects with extraneous benefits, or misrepresenting information.
Disbursal of Information
Employees are responsible for providing comprehensible and timely disclosures to clients/prospects to facilitate informed decision-making.
Conflict of Interest
Employees must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any conflicts promptly. They should refrain from engaging in activities that could harm the company's interests and promptly disclose any gifts exceeding Rs.500 to the HR Department.
Governance and Compliance
Employees must refrain from fraudulent activities detrimental to the company or the insurance industry. They should maintain accurate records, keep certifications updated, and adhere to instructions from senior management.
Redressal of Client Grievances
Employees should inform clients about designated channels for lodging concerns/complaints and promptly address them.
Anti-Corruption/Bribery
Employees must not misuse company funds or property for illegal purposes. Any violation may result in termination and legal action.
Handling of Unauthenticated Market-Related News or Rumors
Employees must adhere to ethical standards and refrain from circulating unverified market-related news or rumors.
Regulatory Certification
Employees involved in soliciting insurance products must obtain and renew necessary certifications mandated by regulatory authorities.
Enforcement
The HR Department is responsible for disseminating, enforcing, and amending the Code of Conduct as needed. Violations may result in disciplinary action.
